This Cookie Policy explains how DashRank ("we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar tracking technologies when you access or use the DashRank platform. It also explains the tokens stored when you connect your required third-party accounts — TikTok, Instagram, Google Maps, GoFood, and Grab — to the platform.
By using DashRank, you agree to the use of cookies and tokens as described in this policy.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website or use a web application. They help platforms function efficiently, remember your settings, and provide usage insights.
DashRank uses the following tracking technologies:
- First-party cookies — set directly by DashRank for authentication, security, and preferences.
- Tokens — encrypted access credentials stored when you connect your TikTok, Instagram, Google Maps, GoFood, and Grab accounts to DashRank. These are required for the platform to work.
2. Types of Cookies and Tokens We Use
2.1 Strictly Necessary Cookies
These cookies are essential for the DashRank platform to operate. They manage your login session, authentication, and security. You cannot opt out of these — without them, you cannot use DashRank.
2.2 Required Platform Integration Tokens
DashRank's core purpose is to manage your business listings and SEO presence across multiple platforms from a single dashboard. To do this, DashRank requires you to connect the following five accounts. Each connection stores a token — an encrypted access credential — that allows DashRank to interact with that platform on your behalf.
These tokens are treated as strictly necessary for DashRank to function. Without them, the relevant platform's features within DashRank will be unavailable.
① TikTok
DashRank connects to your TikTok Business account to manage and optimize your TikTok business profile and listings. By connecting, you grant DashRank access to:
- Your TikTok Business account profile and page information
- Business listing data and performance analytics
- Content and post metrics relevant to your business presence
DashRank does not access your personal TikTok account, private videos, direct messages, or payment information.
To revoke access: Go to DashRank Settings > Connected Accounts, or visit TikTok's app permissions at https://www.tiktok.com/setting/
② Instagram
DashRank connects to your Instagram Business or Creator account to manage and optimize your Instagram business presence. By connecting, you grant DashRank access to:
- Your Instagram Business or Creator account profile (name, username, profile picture, bio)
- Post and content performance data (impressions, reach, engagement metrics)
- Audience insights associated with your business account
- Comments and reviews on your business posts, where applicable
DashRank does not access your personal Instagram account, private messages (DMs), personal photos, or payment information. Access is limited strictly to your business or creator account data.
To revoke access: Go to DashRank Settings > Connected Accounts, or visit Meta's App Permissions at https://www.facebook.com/settings?tab=applications
③ Google Maps
DashRank connects to your Google Business Profile to manage your listings on Google Maps and Google Search. By connecting, you grant DashRank access to:
- Your Google Business Profile listing details (name, address, hours, categories, photos)
- Customer reviews and your responses
- Listing performance data (views, clicks, direction requests, calls)
- The ability to update listing information and respond to reviews on your behalf
DashRank does not access your personal Google account, Gmail, Google Drive, or any data unrelated to your business listing.
To revoke access: Go to DashRank Settings > Connected Accounts, or visit Google Account Permissions at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions
④ GoFood
DashRank connects to your GoFood merchant account to manage your restaurant or food business listing on the GoFood platform. By connecting, you grant DashRank access to:
- Your GoFood merchant profile and restaurant listing information
- Menu data, item descriptions, and pricing information
- Order performance analytics and listing visibility metrics
- Customer ratings and review data associated with your merchant account
DashRank does not access your personal Gojek account, payment or transaction data, customer personal information, or delivery details.
To revoke access: Go to DashRank Settings > Connected Accounts, or manage permissions through your GoFood merchant portal.
⑤ Grab
DashRank connects to your Grab merchant account to manage your business listing on the Grab platform. By connecting, you grant DashRank access to:
- Your Grab merchant profile and business listing information
- Service and product listing data
- Business performance analytics and listing metrics
- Customer ratings and review data associated with your merchant account
DashRank does not access your personal Grab account, payment or transaction data, customer personal information, or delivery order details.
To revoke access: Go to DashRank Settings > Connected Accounts, or manage permissions through your Grab merchant portal.
Note: All tokens are encrypted using AES-256 and stored securely on DashRank's servers. They are used exclusively to perform actions you have authorised within DashRank and are never sold, shared, or used for any purpose beyond operating the platform.
2.3 Functional Cookies
These cookies remember your dashboard preferences, settings, and layout configurations. They improve your experience but are not required for core platform features. Disabling them may affect your display preferences.
In addition, DashRank saves your working data — including keywords, inputs, campaign settings, and other dashboard activity — so that your previous work is automatically restored the next time you log in. This means you can pick up right where you left off without needing to re-enter information. This data is stored securely and is only accessible by you through your DashRank account.
2.4 Analytics Cookies
These cookies collect anonymised, non-identifiable data about how users interact with DashRank — such as which features are used most and where errors occur. This helps us improve the platform. You may opt out of analytics cookies in your DashRank account preferences without affecting platform functionality.
3. Third-Party Platform Privacy Policies
When you connect a third-party account to DashRank, that platform may also set its own cookies and process your data according to their own privacy policies. DashRank does not control these third-party practices. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of each connected platform:

4. How Long Do Cookies and Tokens Last?
Cookies and tokens used by DashRank fall into one category: Persistent cookies and tokens — stored for a defined period, or until you manually disconnect the account or revoke access.
Tokens for your five required connected platforms remain active until you either disconnect the account from DashRank's Connected Accounts settings, or revoke access directly through the respective platform's permissions page.
5. Managing Your Cookie Preferences
You can manage cookies and connected accounts in the following ways:
- Browser settings: Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from logging into DashRank.
- Connected Accounts: You can disconnect any of the five required platform integrations from DashRank Settings > Connected Accounts at any time.
- Analytics opt-out: You may opt out of analytics cookie tracking in DashRank Settings > Privacy Preferences.
Important: Disconnecting any of the five required platform accounts (TikTok, Instagram, Google Maps, GoFood, or Grab) will disable DashRank's ability to manage listings and SEO for that platform. Core DashRank features depend on all five integrations being active and authorised.
6. Changes to This Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time as our platform evolves or as required by applicable law, including Indonesia's Personal Data Protection Law (UU PDP). When we make material changes, we will notify you via the DashRank platform or by email. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this document reflects the most recent revision.
